Fran Paino loves to write under pseudonyms. Changing names allows her to change personas - and spares her readers the work of slogging through other genres.

As F. Della Notte, she writes traditional, cozy, and crime stories, and as Leonora, she allows the darker side to hold sway, writing paranormal tales. In her own voice, she blogs on any subject that captures her fancy, from cats to mysteries to food.

Fran is an Italian-American who loves her heritage and its cuisine. She is a native New Yorker and a Texas transplant, and one of her great pleasures is learning about her new State, then melding all three cultures: Italian, Northeastern, and Southwestern. An Austin resident, she and her hubby live under the watchful and loving control of their cat, Miss Millie.

An alumnus of Austin's Citizen Police Academy, Ms. Paino is also an active member of the Writers' League of Texas, Sisters in Crime, Heart of Texas Chapter, Austin Mystery Writers, and Ink-Stained Wretches. You can find her blogs at:

She wishes you Happy Reading and Buon Appetito!
